ATI Legislation & Regulation
The ATI Act and related Regulations mandate that each government entity should appoint an ATI Responsible Officer to respond to ATI requests which come into the respective body. There are over eighty (80) ATI Responsible Officers based in Ministries, Departments and Agencies throughout Government, to receive and respond to applications from members of the public.
The ATI Unit does not process ATI requests, but guides applicants to the relevant public authority to which the request should be made.
